It’s already March. What?
But with a new month, comes a new “to be read” list. A list that only gets longer! I have a few books lined up for March, but I have been so slow with this whole reading thing recently. It took me over a month to read a 300 page book! So, I’m planning to read a few books this month but I’m not sure how that will go. Shall we get started?
- A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon
I found this book in a charity shop and had to buy it because I absolutely love “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time”, so I figured I would try another one of Haddon’s books. It’s got a quite a few good reviews so we’ll see how it goes – I’ll let you know!
- The Outcast by Sadie Jones
I love a good post-WW2 heart wrencher every now and then, and I came across this one in yet another charity shop and just had to give it a go. It’s been sat on my shelf collecting dust along with all my other TBR’s so I figured it was time to start tackling the pile.
- The Saffron Trail by Rosanna Ley
My Nan gave this one to me and told me I would love it, so it comes highly recommended! It definitely sounds like one of those books that will make your feet itch and spark dreams of traveling the world, so I’m quite excited.
^Yes, I have new candles. Ahh! I have two heart shaped “White Lavender” candles, and a “Wild Rose” jar candle. They’re so pretty! However, talking of new candles … Jamie took his Mum to The Ritz for afternoon tea for her birthday, and they had a fabulous time. On their travels, they went to Fortnum and Masons (ya know, where the Queen shops) and Jamie bought me back a candle. I have never owned such a sweet smell, yet shockingly expensive, candle. It’s absolutely beautiful, so it has pride of place in my living room and will never been lit!
However, I am still reading The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Murial Barbery, so really I going to try and read 4 books in a month, each with about 400-500 pages so I’m not sure if I will be able to but I love a good challenge.
What’s on your March TBR list?
