I am a massive fan of affirmations and use them as part of my morning routine everyday – not can they help to positively change your mindset they can also serve as prompts and reminders for what you are truly capable of and your goals, making sure you have an amazing day, everyday.
I’ve written a few posts about affirmations and plan to write many more, I absolutely swear by them – when used daily, affirmations can be an incredibly powerful tool and the key to success and happiness.
What is an affirmation?
An affirmation is a simple but powerful statement that helps to strengthen the connection between your unconscious mind and your conscious mind.
The more you strengthen this connection the more resilient you will be when a challenging circumstance rears it’s head.
As Buddha once said: you become what you believe.
The most effective way of doing this is to practice affirmations everyday, and then reap the benefits
The benefits of including affirmations in your morning routine are endless. Affirmations define your focus. By focusing your energy on the things you want, such a achieving your goals, you are using your time more effectively and give yourself a better chance of reaching your dreams.

The best thing about affirmations is that there are virtually no rules (just make sure it’s positive!) and you can make them up as you go along. Be persistent with them, you get the most out of an affirmation if you use it daily and also truly believe it.
